Elections, war, NATO, peace plan: Trump gave an interview in which he spoke a lot about Ukraine
09.12.2025 13:31In Ukraine, soldiers are being mistaken for staff from Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers, and even children are afraid of them.
This was reported in an interview with the YouTube channel “Third World War” by 21-year-old operator of ground robotic systems from the “Rubizh” brigade of the 2nd “Khartia” Corps, Nicole-Marie, call sign Lilit.
According to her, in 2022 she saw people in Kyiv being engaged and supportive: when she walked down the street in uniform, people thanked her and were not afraid, unlike today.
“You could feel that we were one country, that we had one common goal, and we lived with the single goal of victory… Now it’s awful. I hate walking around Kyiv in uniform, so I always change into just black pants. One time I came to a school to tell children what a terrible thing war is. I’m walking down the hallway during break, and a bunch of kids run past — I don’t know, maybe sixth grade — and they shout: ‘Guys, hide, it’s the recruitment office (TCC)!’ It’s such total craziness and it breaks me so much that I absolutely hate coming back to civilian life,” Lilit said.
She added that she would be satisfied if there were punishments for disrespecting the military. According to her, disrespect is when some “brainless chick in high heels” calls a wounded fighter from the 3rd Assault Brigade a cripple. For that, Lilit said, there should be at least administrative liability.
Recall that civilians have begun to resist military recruiters. Recently, in Lviv, a man stabbed a Territorial Recruitment Center employee to death during a document check.
