The incident was commented on by the regional TCC.
The Lviv regional TCC said that at the time of detention the man was intoxicated and did not have updated military documents. He was taken to a “rest room” at the TCC together with other mobilized men. Soon after, they told the duty officer that the man had become ill. He showed no signs of life, and doctors recorded his death just five minutes after the first call for medical help.
According to the doctors’ conclusion, the cause of death was diagnosed as alcohol poisoning.
At the same time, the deceased man’s wife says the circumstances of his death have not been clarified. She is demanding a transparent forensic medical examination to determine the real cause of her husband’s death.
