Russian presidential special envoy Kirill Dmitriev arrived in Geneva for economic talks with the United States

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s special representative for economic cooperation with foreign countries and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Kirill Dmitriev, has already arrived in Geneva for talks with the United States on a separate economic track.

This was reported by TASS, citing a source.

According to the agency’s interlocutor, “Dmitriev is already there too; he and the delegation arrived almost at the same time.”

Earlier, the Kremlin explained that Dmitriev is working “on a separate track” within a working group on economic cooperation between Russia and the United States, and is not part of the main negotiating group on the Ukraine settlement.

Earlier, participants of the Ukrainian delegation arrived at the InterContinental Geneva hotel in Geneva. A motorcade of three vehicles stopped at the entrance to the hotel, located near the United Nations Office at Geneva.
