Members of Korchynskyi’s battalion are catching draft dodgers in frontline areas, calling them cattle

In the “Bratstvo” battalion of Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR), led by Dmytro Korchynskyi, representatives said that in frontline areas men are being rounded up from their homes for mobilization. In the unit, such people are described as “cattle” and worse than Russians.

A statement by the battalion commander, Oleksii Serediuk (callsign “Borghezе”), was published by the press service of the Kyiv Regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TCC) on its Facebook page.

According to Serediuk, those who in any way oppose the TCC are more dangerous than Russian soldiers.

“Those who fight against the TCC—criticize it, comment, obstruct it, spread relevant content online (and therefore disrupt mobilization)—are enemies of Ukraine and more dangerous than a Russian soldier. At least I can shoot at the latter,” the serviceman said.

He added that the time will come when mobilization will be carried out by combat units so that draft dodgers do not end up in the Russian army if the front line shifts.

“We all understand that at a critical moment (unfortunately it will come), mobilization will be conducted by combat battalions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as has happened more than once in history. I will laugh with all my heart. Our battalion personally, in the frontline zone where we are working now, has cleared all the draft dodgers out of the houses along the way. Of course, provocateurs in the rear will smear tears and say you can’t do that—can’t drag draft dodgers out of their homes by their legs. But I’ll remind you that if the enemy makes gains in certain sectors, it will take this cattle into its own army, and they will fight for Russia. Of course, there are many opinions on this in the rear. But I’m looking forward with enthusiasm to the moment when we stop paying attention to those opinions,” Serediuk said.

Soon after the post was published, the Kyiv regional TCC deleted Serediuk’s statement. The recruitment center has not yet commented on the matter.

Earlier, Bratstvo leader Korchynskyi himself called on military recruiters to shoot people who resist mobilization.
