25.03.2026 10:01There is no mutual understanding in the work of officials and members of parliament. Lawmakers complain that the Cabinet does not consult with deputies, while in the Verkhovna Rada there is neither a “mono-majority” nor even a “mono-minority” to pass decisions.
This is being reported by the media.
It is noted that there is a lack of understanding in the work of deputies with government officials.
“Motovylovets is in conflict with Prime Minister Svyrydenko. He has no great desire to arrange a meeting for her with committee heads, and during meetings with ministers he allows himself to raise his voice and disconnect early.”
“Yulia makes ministers go to committee meetings, but it would be better if they didn’t. The more they speak at committee sessions, the more lawmakers clutch their heads,” deputies say.
“Officials sit in their own sandbox and throw sand at each other. They do not consult deputies about anything. We can see the results of such ‘cooperation’ on the voting board in the Rada,” another lawmaker said.
Despite the fact that interaction with the government is practically nonexistent, deputies still cannot “deal with” even those ministers whom they openly dislike.
For example, the education committee has already demanded several times that Education Minister Oksen Lisovyi be dismissed, but nothing has come of it.
“Because there is no line of people waiting for ministerial portfolios. And there are unlikely to be enough votes either to dismiss or appoint ministers.”
