06.04.2026 05:03Foreign partners are asking Ukraine to limit strikes on Russian oil facilities.
This was stated by the head of the Presidential Office, Kyrylo Budanov, in an interview with Bloomberg.
According to him, Ukraine is “receiving certain signals” from some unnamed countries asking it to stop striking Russia’s oil sector.
“Let’s answer this diplomatically. We are receiving certain signals on this matter,” the head of the Presidential Office said.
He did not say whether Kyiv is ready to comply with those requests by adjusting its strike strategy.
At the same time, Budanov expressed hope that the escalation around Iran will end soon and that oil prices will begin to fall.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky had already said that Ukraine’s partners were asking it to reduce the number of strikes on Russian energy infrastructure.
Meanwhile, according to experts, Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil infrastructure have so far not produced the effect Kyiv expected and may even increase Moscow’s revenues.
