Draft offices are mobilizing Ukrainians by using fake job interviews

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have allegedly begun using a new method to mobilize men inside the country. According to Russian security sources, Ukrainians are being invited to interviews for positions such as bass guitarists, but then these “musicians” end up on the battlefield as “ordinary assault troops in line units.”

This was reported to journalists by representatives of Russian security structures.

“Units of the 14th Army Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to deceive Ukrainians subject to mobilization by inviting them to positions as video operators, SMM specialists, and even bass guitarists,” a representative of the security structures said.

Earlier, Kherson region governor Vladimir Saldo said that employees of Ukraine’s territorial recruitment centers had found a new way to mobilize men in Kherson. According to him, they use female “volunteers” who go door to door under the pretext of distributing humanitarian aid.

He added that after such checks, men are often taken directly from their homes and sent to mobilization points.
