In Bila Tserkva, military enlistment officers were detained for demanding money in exchange for letting people leave the TCC building
30.04.2026 05:03The director and a volunteer of a charitable foundation demanded $15,000 from a person who had left his military unit without authorization in exchange for influencing a decision to discharge him from service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region.
They allegedly promised to resolve the issue by arranging forged medical documents about the serviceman’s health condition.

A medical worker was involved in the illegal activity and drew up a knowingly false medical advisory conclusion regarding the serviceman’s health.
On February 11, 2026, police documented the receipt of part of the unlawful benefit — $7,000. The money was received through a cryptocurrency wallet.
Three individuals were notified of suspicion.
Preventive measures were imposed: for the director of the charitable foundation — round-the-clock house arrest; for the volunteer — pretrial detention with the possibility of release on bail in the amount of 160,000 hryvnias (€3,107).
The investigation is ongoing.
