U.S. approves sale of JDAM bombs to Ukraine worth $373.6 Million

The U.S. State Department has approved a possible sale to Ukraine of extended-range JDAM guided aerial bombs and related equipment worth $373.6 million.

This was reported by Reuters, citing a State Department notice.

According to the document, Kyiv requested the opportunity to purchase 1,200 JDAM bombs in the KMU-572 configuration and 332 units in the KMU-556 configuration, as well as related equipment and documentation. Boeing will serve as the principal contractor for the deal.

The document does not specify a timeline for possible deliveries.

Ukraine has been using JDAMs on the front lines since 2024.
