Five NATO countries block mandatory military aid to Ukraine at 0.25% of GDP
25.05.2026 05:03Defense Ministry of Ukraine adviser Serhiy Beskrestnov, known by the call sign “Flash,” confirmed that Russian forces struck the building of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Ground Forces command. According to him, the building has not been in use since the start of the war.
Telegram channels published video that, according to its authors, shows the destroyed Ground Forces command building.
In addition, a factory in Lukyanivka was also struck. Beskrestnov clarified that the facility had already been destroyed in previous strikes. This appears to refer to the Artem military plant, which produced missiles.
The Defense Ministry adviser also noted that the majority of casualties during today’s attack were caused specifically by missiles.
“Unfortunately, there were too many missiles for our air defense resources,” the adviser wrote.
