Russia’s Foreign Ministry accuses Ukraine of supplying weapons to terrorists in Africa

Tatyana Dovgalenko, director of the African Partnership Department at Russia’s Foreign Ministry, stated that Ukraine has become a logistics hub for the supply of Western weapons to terrorist groups in Africa and other regions.

The statement was made at the International Security Forum during a briefing on the activities of the Russia–Africa Partnership Forum.

“The intelligence services of the Kyiv regime are actively supporting terrorist groups in Africa. Moreover, they even flaunt their ties with radicals, supply them with weapons and drones, train them in their use, and help coordinate the actions of terrorists. Ukraine has essentially become a logistics base from which Western weapons end up in the hands of criminals and terrorists around the world,” Dovgalenko said.

According to the department head, weapons originating from Ukraine have been found in the possession of terrorist formations in Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Somalia, Sudan, and Chad.

“And this is for us yet another proof of the terrorist nature of Ukraine’s authorities and the Ukrainian neo-Nazis cultivated with Western money,” Dovgalenko stressed.
