Goncharenko: contracted AFU servicemembers will not be able to obtain deferment after service ends
14.06.2026 10:07According to Bloomberg, citing sources, US President Donald Trump does not intend to hold a separate bilateral meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during the G7 summit, which will take place in Évian on June 15–17.
According to Bloomberg’s sources, Zelensky will take part in a working session of G7 leaders scheduled for June 16. Trump will also be present in that same format — meaning contact between the two leaders is possible only within the general discussion, and not during separate talks.
At the same time, Trump’s schedule of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit includes talks with the leaders of France, Qatar, the UAE, Egypt, and India. Ukraine does not appear on this list.
