“If we talk about the regions close to Moscow Oblast, and about the oblast itself — units operating in the area of Kharkiv, Sumy, and Chernihiv oblasts are active here. They also carry out group strikes in specific directions and attempt to hit strategic targets on our side,” — Popov said.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that more than 190 UAVs were shot down on approach to the Moscow region. The attack has been ongoing since the night of June 18 and is of a massive nature.
Moscow Oblast Governor Andrei Vorobyov reported that a drone struck an apartment building in Zhukovsky. In Lyubertsy, a fitness center building and an industrial facility were damaged.
In the village of Stepanovo in Elektrostal, UAV debris damaged the roof of a private house. One woman was injured. Emergency service specialists are working at the debris impact sites, and measures are being taken to deal with the consequences of the attack.
