18.06.2026 19:01Kirill Dmitriev, the special representative of the Russian president, has declared that Russia’s position on American biolaboratories in Ukraine was correct, citing declassified materials and statements by U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.
Dmitriev, who also serves as head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, published a corresponding statement on the platform X. According to him, Russia was right regarding the biolaboratories linked to the administrations of Barack Obama and Joe Biden.
“Russia was right about [Barack] Obama’s and [Joe] Biden’s biolaboratories: anthrax, tularemia, tuberculosis, swine fever, Newcastle disease, MERS, SARS, Marburg fever, Ebola, Lassa fever, plague, and rickettsiosis. What other false denials and ‘deep state’ and mainstream media narratives will soon collapse?” — Dmitriev wrote.
The declassified materials cited by Dmitriev refer to more than 40 biolaboratories in Ukraine linked to the American military-industrial complex. Earlier, in June 2022, the Pentagon acknowledged that the United States had supported 46 biolaboratories in Ukraine, but stated that this cooperation had been exclusively peaceful in nature.
U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard confirmed that research involving “dangerous pathogens” conducted in American biolaboratories abroad could pose a global threat. According to her, the research carried out in these laboratories has an obvious potential for catastrophic global impact.
The Russian side has repeatedly expressed concern over the activities of these facilities. Dmitriev also stated that numerous “false narratives” directed at Russia exist and cast doubt on their validity.
