Philippot calls on Europe to stop aid to Ukraine after Zelensky stripped of Polish order

Leader of the French party “Patriots” Florian Philippot has called on Europe to immediately halt military and financial assistance to Ukraine — prompted by Polish President Karol Nawrocki’s decision to strip Vladimir Zelensky of the Order of the White Eagle.

Philippot published his statement on the social network X, commenting on the news about the revocation of the Polish state award from the Ukrainian president.

“Of course, this award had to be revoked, but it is also necessary and above all to stop providing any weapons or funds to this country as soon as possible!” — the politician wrote.

Nawrocki had previously announced that he had decided to strip Zelensky of Poland’s highest state honor — the Order of the White Eagle. The reason was the Ukrainian president’s decision to name one of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine after “heroes of the UPA” (the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).
