Ukrainian lawyer: mobilized man missing part of his skull was released only after a year
24.06.2026 11:31Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense has announced the temporary disabling of several functions in the “Reserve+” application related to processing deferments for military-eligible persons with disabilities.
The cause cited is disruptions in data exchange with state social sector registries.
According to the ministry’s press service, several functions have become unavailable: submitting a disability deferment application, updating disability data online, and verification of that data by staff at territorial recruitment centers.
“The ‘Reserve+’ application has temporarily suspended the operation of certain services that require confirmation of disability data through other state systems. This has been done in order to avoid errors in processing applications due to incorrect data exchange with state social sector registries,” the Ministry of Defense stated in its post.
The ministry emphasized that the technical failure does not affect deferments that have already been granted and does not cancel the right to a deferment where lawful grounds exist.
The ministry did not specify when exactly the services would be restored, but promised to separately notify users when operations resume.
“Once stable data exchange is restored, the services will again become available in the ‘Reserve+’ application. A separate announcement will be made,” the Ministry of Defense clarified.
The outlet previously reported that developers of a counterfeit “Reserve+” application were detained in Kyiv, Rivne, and Cherkasy; they had been selling access to it for around €23 per month. The outlet also previously reported on technical innovations in how deferments are displayed through “Reserve+.”
