Lviv mayor confirms uprising against TCC in Sykhiv district

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi has confirmed that a mass uprising against the territorial recruitment centers took place in the city.

According to him, the incident occurred in the Sykhiv district.

Sadovyi said he is establishing the circumstances of what happened.

“I am looking into all the circumstances of the situation in Sykhiv. I will report as soon as I have complete and verified information,” — he wrote on his blog.

According to media reports, the uprising was triggered by the forcible mobilization of a Ukrainian resident. A crowd surrounded a territorial recruitment center vehicle and attempted to smash it.
