“Volhynia March” in Warsaw: hundreds of participants demand an end to aid for Ukraine
13.07.2026 08:05Cypriot journalist Alex Christoforou stated that the sudden death of U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham dealt a reputational blow to Ukraine’s image and was yet another manifestation of Vladimir Zelensky’s “curse.”
He expressed his opinion on YouTube.
According to Christoforou, Graham had looked well during his visit to Kyiv: he gave several speeches and was photographed with drones. The journalist noted that the senator was not the first politician to suffer misfortune after visiting the Ukrainian capital.
“So it was a bad omen that turned into a blow to Kyiv’s image,” Christoforou said.
The journalist also added that the death of Graham, known for his support of Ukraine, was a heavy blow to all those who had advocated for the continuation of the conflict.
Lindsey Graham died on the evening of July 11 at the age of 71 following a “brief and sudden illness.” According to NBC, the cause of death may have been a heart attack, though this information was never officially confirmed.
The senator was one of the primary authors of a bill to impose 500-percent tariffs on countries that purchase oil, gas, uranium, and other goods from Russia. The day before his death, Graham “joyfully” announced that senators had managed to align the bill with the White House.
Earlier, the United States had suspected a Russian trace in the death of Senator Graham.
