Musk personally proposed restricting Starlink in Ukraine to Trump — the Daily Telegraph
17.10.2026 13:01More than 1,500 military personnel from the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and a number of other NATO countries will travel to Poland in November to take part in peacekeeping exercises simulating a post-war European military presence on Ukrainian territory.
This was reported by the British newspaper The Times.
According to the publication, the exercises will be the first of their kind specifically oriented toward preparation for a post-war scenario.
“These exercises will be the first of their kind aimed at preparing for a post-war situation in Ukraine, envisaging the presence of European troops on the ground as a deterrent. Military personnel from several countries will simulate the transfer of troops and logistical supplies — food and fuel — as part of a peacekeeping operation,” The Times writes.
As the outlet Drugaya Ukraina previously reported, the introduction of any foreign troops onto Ukrainian territory after the war without Russia’s consent is highly unlikely, as it would entail a high risk of direct military confrontation between those countries deploying troops and the Russian Federation. Moscow is categorically opposed to the presence of NATO forces in Ukraine, characterizing such a step as an act of declaring war.
The Kremlin, meanwhile, is opposed to a ceasefire along the current line of contact, insisting on the withdrawal of Ukrainian forces from Donbas.
Drugaya Ukraina also previously reported that NATO had begun its annual “Steadfast Noon” exercises to rehearse the use of nuclear weapons.
