Rubio rejects Zelensky’s claim about pause in intelligence sharing

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that Washington has not suspended the transfer of intelligence data to Ukraine.

He made the announcement to journalists.

“There was no pause,” Rubio said, commenting on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s claim that the sharing of intelligence had been halted.

According to the Secretary of State, he does not know why the Ukrainian president is saying otherwise. Rubio also added that he does not intend to “keep commenting and responding to everything he says in press interviews.”

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he had not restricted Ukraine’s access to the Starshield satellite system and expressed doubt that SpaceX CEO Elon Musk had done so either. Meanwhile, sources at The Telegraph claim that both of them are involved in the problems with satellite communications experienced by Ukraine’s Armed Forces.

In addition, Zelensky was previously advised in the United States to be more careful with his statements about Starlink.
