November 1, 2023On Wednesday, November 1st, a court hearing began at the Pechersk District Court in Kyiv to determine the preventive measure for the head of the National Health Service of Ukraine, Natalia Husak, who is suspected of official negligence.
According to the investigation, in April 2022, Husak allowed for excessive expenditures of budgetary funds amounting to over 2 million hryvnias (approximately 52,000 euros). She failed to properly oversee the administration of the central database of the electronic system. As a result, payments were made from the state budget, but the services were not provided.
As a reminder, on October 27th, law enforcement officials announced suspicions of official negligence against the head of the National Health Service of Ukraine, Natalia Husak.
Husak herself stated that the ongoing inspections of her agency are “baseless and initiated by those who want to obstruct the work of the National Health Service of Ukraine.”
The searches in the National Health Service of Ukraine were referred to as pressure aimed at hindering the agency’s operations.
