A discrepancy was found: Verkhovna Rada MPs mocked Zelensky for trying to prove there was a “blackout” in his office

The President’s Office published a photo of Volodymyr Zelensky holding a meeting “without electricity,” but the monitor in the shot showed him with the lights on — which may indicate the photo was edited in advance to create the impression of darkness.

This was written in their Telegram channels by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak (Holos party) and his colleague Oleksii Honcharenko (European Solidarity).

“A small hint for the OP PR people: if you want to make a photo as if there’s no power, it would be a good idea to actually switch it off in the whole office and check that there isn’t a camera view of the photographer on the screen,” Zheleznyak commented.

He also noted that the President’s Office building is very cold because it is an old Soviet building, where it’s cold in almost every office, including those of OP deputy heads.

“But judging by the fact that the president is in a T-shirt, his office is being heated enough. Or maybe it’s being warmed by the people’s love,” the MP wrote.

Honcharenko, for his part, asked: “Did Tina Karol become Zelensky’s PR manager?”

“Here’s what’s funniest: Mykyta (a deputy head of the OP — Ed.) is sitting in the neighboring office with the lights on. Whoever comes up with this is a genius,” Honcharenko wrote.

Recall that today an adviser to the head of the President’s Office, Viktoriia Strakhova, stated that there is no heating in the President’s Office building.
