A French politician said Zelensky is desperately trying to insert himself into the conflict in Iran

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has lost and is therefore desperately trying to insert himself into the conflict in the Middle East.

This was stated by French politician Florian Philippot on his YouTube channel.

“Zelensky has lost his war and is desperately getting involved in someone else’s, trying to profit,” Philippot said.

He argued that such steps by Zelensky seriously complicate Kyiv’s relations with its European partners, because the Middle East conflict is creating energy difficulties for EU countries.

The day before, Zelensky said that Ukraine had received “some signals” about how it could help civilians in the Middle East war zone and U.S. troops.

He said Ukraine would provide its experts and ensure their protection. Kyiv is in dialogue with its partners on the matter, he added, noting that it is too early to talk about details.

Earlier, it became known that the United States had asked Ukraine for help in countering Iranian drones. According to Politico, the Pentagon needs technologies to counter UAVs. U.S. military personnel have already visited Ukraine for this purpose, but no deal has been concluded yet.
