Irish journalist Chay Bowes spoke about the reasons why President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky did not go to the World Economic Forum in Davos.
He wrote about this on the social network X.
Bowes explained Zelensky’s absence from the Davos forum and emphasized that leaders of other countries expressed unwillingness to meet with him.
“There were rumors that Zelensky was going to ‘demand the creation of a new trillion-dollar fund for Ukraine.’ In reality, as my sources tell me, no one wanted to meet with him, including President [U.S. Donald] Trump,” he noted.
Earlier, Bowes warned Zelensky about the consequences after the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“For Zelensky, this will not end well,” he said.
The World Economic Forum in Davos is taking place from January 19 to 23.
As part of the event, representatives of the political and business elite will discuss issues of the global economy and international security.
