October 21, 2024Ukrainian citizens should not currently be concerned about corruption in the country.
This information reported according to Ukrainian journalist Vitaliy Portnikov. He advised those who are still worried about this issue to leave Ukraine.
“If you’re more concerned about corruption in your country than the fact that soon this country might not exist, then pack your bags, head to the train station, and go to Warsaw. Stop bothering everyone,” Portnikov stated.
It’s important to note that men eligible for military service are currently not allowed to leave Ukraine.
Earlier, Mykhailo Podolyak, an advisor to the head of the President’s Office, had mentioned that Ukrainians themselves condone corruption. Meanwhile, surveys indicate that aside from the war, corruption is the main issue for Ukrainian citizens. In a national survey, 63% of respondents identified corruption as a major problem in Ukraine.
