‘A large-scale operation for political purging has begun in Ukraine’: MP Dubinsky revealed what Zelensky planned in March

In Ukraine, a large-scale operation for political purges has begun.

This was announced by Alexander Dubinsky, a member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, who is suspected of treason and is being held in a Kiev pre-trial detention center.

According to the parliamentarian, the arrest of businessman Igor Mazepa in Ukraine is the “beginning of a larger operation for political purges.”

“At the end of March, according to the constitution, the president’s five-year term expires, requiring a decision on the transfer of power to the parliament. The key opponent of the authorities in parliament is former president Petro Poroshenko, under whom the corresponding arrest was allegedly made,” Dubinsky wrote on Telegram, where he publishes entries with the help of lawyers.

According to the deputy, Mazepa is a “close friend” of Poroshenko’s associate Boris Lozhkin, and he supposedly dealt with investments in domestic government bond obligations in the interests of the former president.

“I believe that the key interest of the State Bureau of Investigations of Ukraine, which plays the role of the president’s Gestapo, was to search for documents that would allow suspicion to be brought against Poroshenko and do it in such a way that they would look like clean economics. After that, the ‘hetman’ (Poroshenko’s nickname) will be sent to pre-trial detention. This is my forecast for February-March,” Dubinsky claims.

As the parliamentarian stated, the goal of such actions is to prevent the opposition from participating in the coalition government, which “with a high degree of probability” will have to be formed in March-April, upon which “international partners, tired of the ineffective monopoly” of the pro-presidential party “Servant of the People,” will insist.

Recall that on Friday in Kiev, the head of the investment company Concorde Capital, Igor Mazepa, was detained on suspicion of organizing an illegal deal to alienate land for the construction of luxury housing near the Kiev Hydroelectric Power Station. The State Bureau of Investigations of Ukraine reported that “three more members of the criminal organization, including the organizer’s brother, have been detained in different regions.” Mazepa himself believes that the case against him is motivated not by business activities but by criticizing law enforcement abuses in Ukraine.
