A deputy from the presidential faction wants to expel from the country anyone who refuses to go to war
February 5, 2024In the Territorial Center of Recruitment (TCR), it is claimed that police and military enlistment officers are conducting “search operations to identify enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups (SRG)” in the Obolon district of Kiev.
At the same time, the published photos from TCR show checkpoints in several areas of the district where drivers are being issued something. In one of the photos, a driver is seen smiling while showing something resembling a summons to the military enlistment office (later removed from social networks). However, how this relates to “identifying enemy SRGs” is not explained.
Earlier, checkpoints for “searching for SRGs” had already appeared in Kiev and the surrounding region. Subsequently, TCR admitted that they are distributing summonses at these checkpoints. A brutal hunt for Ukrainian men has been underway for over six months, with beatings and abductions of men starting in villages and small towns. In Kiev, military enlistment officers are trying to be more polite, but still forcibly send thousands of people to the front lines.
