“To end the war, both sides will have to make concessions,” – said the new U.S. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio
21.01.2025 13:01Member of Parliament Oleksandr Fediyenko denies that a new bill is being drafted to hold territorial recruitment center employees accountable for violations of mobilization procedures.
Earlier, MPs Maksym Buzhansky and Oleksandr Bakumov reported on such plans.
According to Bakumov, the proposed bill aimed to include a ban on recruitment center employees wearing balaclavas and using force against citizens.
However, Fediyenko stated that no new legislative initiatives on this issue will be introduced.
“Once again: yesterday, a joint meeting of two committees—law enforcement and national security—was held. Problematic issues were discussed: balaclavas, ‘bus-ifying,’ police work, video recording, summonses (postal notifications). That’s it! There were no legislative proposals, nor can there be, because all of this is already regulated by existing legislation!” said Fediyenko, a member of the defense committee.
Earlier, MP Buzhansky stated that the Verkhovna Rada would draft a bill to punish employees of territorial recruitment centers and military medical commissions for violations during mobilization.
Additionally, it was reported that the topic of fines for draft dodgers was discussed at the joint committee meeting. Territorial recruitment centers explained that issuing fines is too costly for them, which is why they continue to detain people on the streets.
