A peculiarity was noticed in Zelensky’s behavior at the meeting with Trump

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, during his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House, resembled “a man suffering from indigestion.”

This observation was made by the British newspaper Daily Mail.

“Zelensky, frowning and with his chin pressed tightly against his chest, could have easily passed for someone struggling with indigestion,” the article notes.

According to Daily Mail, the Ukrainian leader appeared extremely nervous, and his odd jokes and incoherent answers to questions often left members of the press puzzled.

The piece adds that the situation of Zelensky’s European allies, who were waiting in a nearby room, was equally unenviable. The atmosphere of fear and anxiety that the Ukrainian president might make a terrible mistake made the waiting unbearable for European politicians.

Earlier, Zelensky mocked a journalist who in February had criticized him for not wearing a suit during his visit to the White House.

“See, I’ve changed clothes, but you haven’t. Maybe your suit is much better,” he joked.
