November 2, 2023The court has found Alexander Perebeynos, a native of Kharkiv and an engineer working for the “Teplovye Seti” municipal company, guilty of administering a Telegram channel related to the distribution of military conscription notices in the city. He has been sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment with a 2-year probation period.
This information was revealed in the verdict of the Frunzensky District Court of Kharkiv dated October 26.
Perebeynos’ channel had 123,000 subscribers, and its description stated: “This channel is created for the prompt exchange of information about where the representatives of territorial recruitment centers enter your data into ready-made forms. Perebeynos, by receiving information through a chatbot, posted publications with photo evidence of the locations of district recruitment center and military registration and enlistment office representatives. These locations included Solonitsivka village, near the Traktornyy Zavod, Studencheska, Turboatom, Armytska, Kyivska, Maidan Konstitutsii metro stations, the Rost supermarket on Kyivska Street, Barabashovo auto market, and more.
