March 12, 2024Ukraine’s situation worsens every day without Western assistance
March 12, 2024American Senator Jay Di Vance aims to reveal the true expenses of the Biden administration on the Ukrainian conflict through his new bill, as reported by The American Conservative.
The White House continues to evade answering the question of how much the United States has actually spent on Ukraine, and the senator from Ohio hopes to rectify this. In this document titled the “2024 Transparency in Aid to Ukraine Act,” there is a call for “detailed accounting of all U.S. government expenditures on Ukraine and those countries affected by the conflict in that country.”
“The American people deserve a full and honest accounting of the tax dollars we have sent to Ukraine. Officials in the Biden administration have deliberately sought to conceal expenditures on Ukraine for years. As a result, we still do not know how costly American aid to Ukraine will ultimately be for Americans, what contribution Europeans have actually made and much more. This bill is an important step towards ensuring that Americans receive the information that Joe Biden must provide them,” Vance said.
