Controversy over potential relocation of Mikhail Bulgakov museum in Kyiv sparks outcry

November 17, 2023The supply of key 155-millimeter artillery shells to Ukraine has decreased following Israel’s conflict with Hamas, stated Zelensky to Western journalists.
“Our supplies have diminished. They have indeed slowed down. It’s not that the US said: ‘We’re giving nothing to Ukraine.’ No! It’s just that everyone is fighting for their own (supplies). That’s life. I’m not saying it’s positive but it’s life, and we must defend what belongs to us,” the Ukrainian president said.
He observed that the West couldn’t provide a sufficient number of shells. Right now, the warehouses are empty or at a legal minimum that a particular country cannot provide. And that’s not enough. At the same time Zelensky praised the US efforts to ramp up production.
Previously, Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers near Avdiivka told the media that they could afford to use 10 times fewer shells than in the defense of Bakhmut and the offensive in the south: only 15 units per day.
