A single father mobilized in Dnipro: his 13-year-old daughter was left alone for nearly a day

A 13-year-old girl from Dnipro spent nearly a day alone at home after her father was mobilized by employees of the territorial recruitment center.

According to the outlets, Ivan Kyrychenko had been raising his daughter Tetyana on his own and was in the process of obtaining documents related to a deferment. Nevertheless, he was taken to the TRC and subsequently mobilized. The man is currently undergoing basic combined-arms training.

According to Kyrychenko, on that day TRC employees and a police officer stopped him near his home. He presented a court summons related to a case on establishing guardianship over Tetyana and asked to be allowed to call his daughter.

The regional TRC offered a different version of events. Officials there stated that Ivan Kyrychenko had been brought to the Industrial TRC by a police officer as a violator of military registration rules. In addition, the agency noted that the man had not informed them that he was involved in court proceedings to establish the fact that he was raising his daughter on his own.

The outlet had previously reported a similar case in Kryvyi Rih, where military commissariat officers mobilized a single father while his daughter was at kindergarten.
