A turning point in Western support for Ukraine has arrived

The West has invested heavily in supporting Ukraine’s military campaign but with the failure of the counteroffensive, hints of a turning point began to emerge. Kyiv’s operation, which began in June, led to huge losses: the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 70,000 personnel, achieving only modest successes on the battlefield.
