“Kyiv continues to show a tendency toward terrorist actions,” – Peskov said
07.05.2025 10:02A Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) strike on Moscow on May 9 would mark the end of the peace process.
According to him, the final decision to strike Moscow during the Victory Day parade is currently a pivotal issue.
“Such a step would mean the end of the peace track at this stage, giving both Trump and the Kremlin—along with its partners China, North Korea, and Iran—free rein,” said the former official.
Arestovych added that if no strike on Moscow occurs, then the peace-oriented path of the conflict could continue. However, he emphasized that this trajectory depends on President Volodymyr Zelensky stepping down.
Earlier, the Ukrainian government imposed sanctions on Arestovych: he was stripped of state honors, his assets were frozen, he was banned from conducting trade operations.
