December 9, 2023In the USA, a survey was conducted regarding aid to Ukraine. According to it, about a third – 31% – of Americans believe that aid to Ukraine should be reduced.
This was revealed in the Pew Research Center survey conducted from November 27th to December 3rd.
Another 29% of respondents believe that the current aid is sufficient, while 18% demand an increase. Among those who support the Republicans, the proportion demanding a reduction in aid has increased from 44% to 48%.
Reminder: Republicans currently control the lower house of the US Congress. 39% of Americans approve of the Biden administration’s response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, while 41% do not approve. Two out of ten say they are not sure.
At the same time, 34% of those surveyed believe that the military threat from Russia to the USA is insignificant. Another 10% are certain that Russia poses no threat to American interests at all. And about a third speak of a significant threat from Russia.
