Zelensky considers it pointless to continue meetings in Istanbul at a level “that decides nothing”
04.06.2025 15:29Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on the incidents that occurred on railway routes at the beginning of summer, labeling the Ukrainian authorities as a terrorist organization and once again questioning their legitimacy.
He made the remarks during a government meeting.
“The decisions regarding these terrorist attacks were made in Ukraine at the political level. This illegitimate regime is transforming into a terrorist organization, and its sponsors are becoming accomplices to terrorism,” the Kremlin leader stated.
Putin also said he was “not surprised” by Kyiv’s refusal to agree to a short-term ceasefire on certain parts of the front for the purpose of retrieving bodies, claiming that “the Ukrainian authorities are not interested in peace, since peace would mean losing power.”
Regarding Ukraine’s proposal for a 30-day truce, he accused Kyiv of intending to use it “for forced mobilization, arms buildup, and preparing terrorist attacks.”
