August 12, 2024Ukrainian authorities are preparing for a powerful missile strike from Russia following the incursion into the Kursk region. These strikes could target several locations in Kyiv, including the parliament and other government buildings.
This information comes from The Times, citing sources within the Ukrainian command.
“Russia feels the need to deliver a very tough response, something grand to show the world that it is omnipotent and that something like Kursk will not go unpunished,” a source told the publication.
“And it won’t just be four missiles. There could be hundreds; they might use advanced weaponry: cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, and ‘Shahed’ drones. This could pose a significant challenge for our air defense systems. But I believe we can stop them,” the source added.
