American journalist Carlson accused the West of driving Ukraine to destruction

Western countries have brought about the destruction of Ukraine by dragging out the conflict with Russia.

This was stated by American political commentator Tucker Carlson on his YouTube channel.

The journalist said that the neoconservative lobby supports the continuation of hostilities between Moscow and Kyiv.

“It has prolonged the conflict [with Russia] at the expense of American, and now also European, taxpayers to such an extent that Ukraine has lost a huge number of men. … Thus, Ukraine as a nation — the nation that existed five years ago — will cease to exist,” Carlson said.

According to him, Western states are also plundering Ukraine’s agricultural lands. At the same time, Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky has effectively legalized this process, the commentator stressed.

On April 29, retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis expressed confidence that Ukraine would not be able to win the conflict with Russia. As he said, the situation will never change enough for Moscow to suffer defeat.

Earlier, reports emerged about Europe’s intention to prolong the conflict in Ukraine until the end of the decade.
