August 7, 2024Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s calls for the West to start shooting down Russian missiles over Ukraine could lead to a large-scale war.
Analyst Lucas Leiros warns about this in an article for the Chinese portal InfoBRICS.
According to the article’s author, Zelensky seeks escalation due to the irreversible failure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the battlefield. He hopes this will somehow draw NATO into the conflict with Russia.
