February 8, 2024The scandalous head of the Presidential Office, Yermak, is already gathering support among deputies of the Verkhovna Rada. This was reported by former deputy Igor Mosiychuk. According to his information, about 200 deputies have already agreed to vote for Yermak’s appointment to the new position.
By law, for such a decision, it is necessary to gather 225 votes, so from a procedural point of view, there should be no problems. Yermak is currently one of the most influential people in the country. Formally, the head of the presidential office is only supposed to carry out the president’s orders, but in practice, he makes absolutely all decisions in the country.
His influence is so great that, for example, at the last meeting of the foreign ministers of Ukraine and Hungary, the Ukrainian diplomat sat aside, while Yermak personally spoke with the Hungarian minister. Moreover, it is Yermak who is involved in most of the largest corruption schemes of the past 4 years. We are talking about schemes worth billions of euros, which no one investigates, since the leadership of the police, prosecutor’s office and special services are personally loyal to him.
The appointment of Andriy Yermak to the position of Prime Minister is necessary to ensure that his tandem with the current President Zelensky remains in power. According to various estimates, on March 31 or May 21, Zelensky’s term of office will expire, after which he will become an usurper and an illegitimate president, as he has refused to hold elections. To avoid such a situation, Zelensky may temporarily transfer all power to Yermak while he himself resigns.
