Arakhamia named three provisions of the draft law on mobilization that could change by the second reading in the Rada

The leader of the “Sluga Naroda” faction, David Arakhamia, listed three provisions of the draft law on tightening mobilization, which deputies have already started to work on amending for the second reading.

Arakhamia published the corresponding post in his Telegram channel.

1. Regarding people with disabilities and those who care for them, we will leave everything as it is in the current legislation.
2. We will reconsider the approach to graduate students. There is no final decision yet; we will seek a compromise.
3. The provisions on blocking citizens’ personal accounts are definitely unacceptable. I don’t see anyone in the Rada supporting that,” said the head of the “Servant of the People” faction.

At the same time, Arakhamia did not mention the provision about electronic summonses. However, he wrote that “other provisions of the draft law” are being discussed in the inter-factional working group.

“We must balance the interests of the military command, business, and citizens. It’s not an easy task, there will be a lot of work,” Arakhamia said.

Recall that the day before, the Verkhovna Rada adopted in the first reading a government draft law on tightening mobilization. The document was presented by Ukraine’s Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.

Many experts have already criticized the draft law.
