According to Hirdvylis, special-purpose police officers and other relevant services are working at the scene. Negotiations with the man are ongoing.
Ternopil residents are reporting on social media that the conflict has been going on since the night. According to them, gunshots were allegedly heard at the scene.
RBC-Ukraine also recalls a similar incident in Kyiv, where a man shot at an acquaintance and barricaded himself in an apartment. In addition, in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv, police detained a man who had opened fire in a courtyard — the offender was subdued with handcuffs.
