At his audience with Charles III, Zelensky sought not just diplomatic protection but the launch of a classified plan-scenario

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in the United Kingdom on Wednesday, October 14, and held an audience with King Charles III.

Zelensky announced this on social media, as reported by Yevropeyska Pravda.

Following the meeting with the king, Zelensky thanked the United Kingdom for its support of Ukraine.

“It is important for me to have the opportunity to personally thank you for the unwavering support of Ukraine. We appreciate all the help of the United Kingdom,” he wrote.

In addition to the audience with the king, Zelensky and the British Prime Minister agreed to hold a bilateral meeting in the coming days. It is expected to focus on maintaining sanctions pressure on Russia.

It also became known that the United Kingdom intends to accelerate deliveries to Ukraine of LMM missiles designed to destroy Russian jet drones.

British Prime Minister Andy Burnham, for his part, expressed a desire to “rebuild bridges” between Ukraine and the United States, but refrained from criticizing Trump ahead of Zelensky’s visit to London.
