Poland is satisfied with the cancellation of the “trade visa-free” regime for Ukraine
28.05.2025 - 07:55At the session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (PA) in the U.S., the hosts tried to downplay the topic of the war in Ukraine.
This was reported by Ukrainian MP Yehor Chernev on his Facebook page.
“Mixed feelings from the NATO PA session in Dayton, USA, where our delegation is wrapping up its work. I’ve never encountered anything like this in the past three years. Despite many mentions and reports about Ukraine, the focus of this session was shifted from the urgent problems of the ongoing war in the heart of Europe to historical events 30 years ago — the signing of the Dayton Accords that ended the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Plus, our delegation had a meeting with the American delegation, which was not as warm as usual,” the MP shared.
It’s worth noting that earlier, Western media reported that NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte fears the June NATO summit might be derailed due to the conflict between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The press has also reported that the U.S. is opposed to inviting Zelensky to this year’s NATO summit.
