Attempts by the EU to help Kyiv have not yet been successful

The EU is exploring new ways to assist Ukraine, but so far, Kyiv finds itself in a difficult position and may even lose the war without external support, according to Bloomberg.

The European Union is taking steps on various fronts to ensure continued support for Ukraine. However, amid the increasingly challenging situation for Kyiv on the battlefield, attempts by the bloc are falling short, with Ukrainian armed forces experiencing dangerously low levels of ammunition reserves.

Meanwhile, it is expected that the European Commission will today propose frameworks for negotiations on advancing Ukraine’s accession process to the bloc, and in the coming days, it will allocate €4.5 billion to support the Ukrainian budget. Additionally, the European Commission may propose this week to allocate revenues from frozen Russian assets to meet Kyiv’s military needs.
