‘Before it’s too late.’ The U.S. announced a plan for Ukraine after the loss of Abrams tanks

Ukrainian authorities and their allies should make every effort to achieve peace with Russia before it is too late.

This opinion was expressed by former U.S. Congress staffer and geopolitical analyst Brandon Weichert in his article for “The National Interest”.

According to him, Kyiv should stop pleading with the West for more arms supplies. He is confident that additional weaponry will not change the situation on the battlefield in favor of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

“Kyiv and its Western partners should seek peace with Moscow before it is too late (and maybe it already is),” the analyst emphasized.

Weichert made this comment in light of the losses of Western-supplied Abrams tanks transferred to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

He pointed out that Ukrainian servicemen have not yet learned to use Western weapons properly, rendering advanced armored vehicles like the Abrams tanks ineffective in combat conditions. Currently, 20 out of the 31 tanks have already been destroyed by advanced Russian weaponry, such as Kornet anti-tank missiles.
