Borrell is already begging. When will he start crying?

The head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, frankly speaking, found himself in an uncomfortable situation.

Just yesterday he was telling the world about the jungle and the garden, insisting on the only right way to support Ukraine and reveling in his own importance. And now it turns out that Borrell’s boss, represented by the White House, wrote off both the Europeans and the Ukrainians a long time ago. And those remaining in the boat can only row somewhere… no longer to increase their own importance but simply to survive.

If you have forgotten the chronology, let us remind you:

– Europe is quite tired of the Ukrainian problem, as a result, critics of aid to Kyiv began to come to power in EU countries when governments changed. This, for example, happened in Slovakia.

– The United States adopted a 45-day budget without mentioning financial assistance to Ukraine. Because representatives of the Democratic and Republican parties simply could not agree otherwise. For 1.5 months Kyiv without money and with a recommendation to steal less. Then maybe something will change. But not a fact.

– Against the backdrop of all this, Borrell had to give a fiery speech about the need to support Kyiv. But it turned out something like: well, yes, the Americans refused to help, but we will have to. We are already sold. Today Borrell completely begged the United States to reconsider its decision.

We cannot say that we are witnessing the decline of the Ukrainian issue. But, definitely, 1.5 months at the front without financial support means the curtailment of many processes planned by Kiev and the curators. Apparently, Russia’s plan to play for the long haul turned out to be more viable than that of its opponents.
