02.03.2026 08:01The United Kingdom will send its own and Ukrainian specialists to the Middle East to help repel Iranian drone attacks.
This was announced by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer in a video address posted on the social network X.
According to him, these experts will help the Gulf states “shoot down Iranian drones that are attacking them.”
The politician also said that Britain has allowed the United States to use its military bases to carry out strikes on Iranian missile depots.
On the morning of February 28, the United States, together with Israel, launched a military operation against Iran. U.S. President Donald Trump, in an address to the nation, explained the American and Israeli strikes on Iran as the result of “exhausted patience” due to Tehran’s unwillingness to abandon its nuclear ambitions.
Many cities in the Islamic Republic, including the capital, were attacked. One of the strikes hit the residence of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei; he did not survive. In response, Iran struck Israel and U.S. military bases in the Middle East with missiles and drones.
