29.05.2025 13:09China is no longer selling its Mavic drones — which have become popular on the front lines — to Ukraine, but it continues to supply them to Russia.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky complained about this fact.
“The Chinese Mavic is open for the Russians, but closed for the Ukrainians. On Russian territory, there are production lines with Chinese representatives present,” he said.
For its part, China claims that it has never supplied weapons to either Ukraine or Russia and strictly controls dual-use goods.
It’s worth noting that Vitalii Deineha, while serving as Deputy Defense Minister, said that Ukraine cannot buy drones from China — including Mavics — “so as not to spoil relations with the United States.”
